Business Guidelines
Welcome to Scarlett Crusade Designs! We are excited to have you and we hope you will fall in love with our products just as much as we have. Please take the time to read through this page so that you understand how things work here.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for prejudice, racial, hate speech, bullying etc. We strive to be inclusive of every single person. We want everyone to be able to share their creations and photos of their family and friends. We want this environment to be a safe haven for everyone who decides to be with us. Those of you who are unable to follow these rules and violate this part of our policy will be immediately removed from the group and banned. Please be kind to others.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
DISCLAIMER: Fabric Flaws
Fabric is printed on 36” by 60” wide fabric but due to the nature of the printing process there can sometimes be flaws along the edges of the fabric resulting in the fabric being 54-58” inches in width. It is not uncommon for you to see potential white specks or a slight curve of the images due to the printing process; this cannot be avoided. If you have a flaw that can be covered up by a quarter this will be considered acceptable and not eligible for a return, as it is not affecting the whole fabric. If your fabric is off in length by more than 3 inches on each yard, then you will be entitled to a refund/exchange/return if the fabric has not been washed.
1. Store Credit, Returns and Exchange Policies
Please note that once you have received your order, you have 7 days to look over your fabric for any issues (this includes flaws and measurements). If you wash the fabric before inquiring about any flaws or issues with your fabric, you will be ineligible for an exchange/refund of store credit/return. If you are eligible for a refund of store credit, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item (UNLESS the return is due to company error.) Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a store credit refund, we will deduct the cost of shipping (that you paid originally) from the store credit refund unless this store credit refund/return is due to a company error.
To complete your return we require a proof of purchase; which can be your receipt or packing slip.
If your fabric has been washed, or it is not in its original condition (damaged or cut not due to company error), or is returned more than 10 days after you received it: it will be ineligible for return/refund. We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged. This means you are unable to exchange a yard of fabric with one pattern for another. Unless the pattern received is noticeably different than the pattern ordered.
If at any time you want to cancel your order after it has been submitted or it has reached max TAT, you will receive store credit as we do NOT offer refunds on an order that was already paid to the supplier. The order you place is custom to you and there is no guarantee we are able to sell it.
If there is a circumstance that happens that is out of our control and the turnaround time is over the 5-8 weeks, we will notify you either via email or make a post in the group notifying everyone. Examples of circumstances out of our control: printer issues, shipping issues, weather, pandemic, war etc.

2.2 Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
You, as the buyer, must agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all of the purchases made in the store. You must promptly update your account and any other information, including your email address, and credit card numbers, and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions.
2.3 PayPal
At checkout we offer PayPal. Please read through their user agreement, privacy policy and acceptance policy. For any issues with your PayPal account you will need to contact PayPal to help resolve these issues. Scarlett Crusade Designs does not have access to your PayPal account or any information on it. It is stored securely within PayPal’s servers.

2.4 Stripe
Stripe is another payment platform that allows our customers to pay for purchases with credit cards or debit credits. It allows the addition of Visa, Mastercard (credit and debit), Maestro, American Express, JCB, Alipay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Microsoft Pay, Masterpass by Mastercard, Visa Checkout and more! It allows for payment in over 135 currencies. Please ensure that you are following all privacy and user agreements within each service that you choose. We are not liable for anything that happens via those services, and we do not store any of your information or have access to this information. 2.5 Afterpay
Afterpay is another payment service that works as a “ buy now, pay later” buying option. This allows you to buy whatever you would like on the site with afterpay and we as SCD gets paid and you pay afterpay over 6 weeks interest free. Please ensure that you are following all privacy and user agreements within each service that you choose. We are not liable for anything that happens via those services, and we do not store any of your information or have access to this information. 2.6 Shipping and Insurance
When purchasing fabric from us you will pay your own shipping based on the weight of the fabric. We have chosen the least expensive and fastest service to ensure you receive your items within a timely manner. If the postal service is experiencing high volumes of packages or there are flight delays, etc., this is unavoidable and there is nothing that the company can do. You will need to contact the postal service directly.
Each package comes with $100 shipping insurance for domestic orders, and $200 for international orders. If there is something wrong with the package upon arrival, it is late, lost or doesn’t show up, you will need to call the postal service and make a claim through them. Scarlett Crusade Designs is NOT responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen packages.
Please review our shipping Policy to know which option is the best for you. If you choose an option that does not cover the whole shipping cost, we will contact you and let you know that you owe on shipping before the package is sent out. All information about how many yards each box holds, tracking, how many days it takes to receive your package, insurance and other options, and pricing can be found in the shipping policy. If you are buying wholesale, we will discuss a better shipping method with you so please contact us. If you are buying more than what the boxes offered can hold, please contact us and we will setup a custom shipping rate for you in the cheapest way.
Those of you who are international, please contact us for a shipping quote. Please note that during a pandemic, if your country is not allowing flights into your country to either purchase at a later date or contact us and we will keep your parcel on hand and ready to ship out as soon as the country allows it.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we need to collect some personal information. This includes your name, address and email address. Upon browsing the store, the website automatically sends us your IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operation system. We store this information until you deactivate your account, and then your information is destroyed and we no longer have access to it.
3.1 Consent
Providing us with your personal information to complete your transaction, verify your credit or payment information, place an order, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase, will be considered your express consent to our collection of that information. If we ask for your personal information for any other reason, for example: marketing, we will message you directly for your consent and provide you with the opportunity to decline. 3.2 Disclosure
Scarlett Crusade Designs will disclose your personal information if the law requires us to, or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
3.3 Squarespace
Scarlett Crusade Designs Store is hosted by Squarespace. They provide us with the online ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products to you. All of your data is stored through SquareSpace’s data storage, database and the SquareSpace application. They will be storing your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment through SquareSpace: If you choose to use the direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, SquareSpace will then store your credit card data. This is completely encrypted
through the payment card industry data security standard. Your purchase transaction data is only stored for however long it takes for you to complete your purchase on the website. Once your transaction is complete, your credit card data is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards by the PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI security standards council. These include brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help to ensure that there is a secure handling of your credit card information by our store and its service providers. 3.4 Third-Party Services
Any of the third-party providers that we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to complete your purchases. This allows them to perform the services they need to provide to us. Also, these third-party payment gateways and processors have their own privacy policies in respect to your information. Please ensure you are reading their policies to better understand how your information is being handled. Some of these providers will be in a different jurisdiction or country than where Scarlett Crusade Designs is located. Which means, if you choose to use these providers then your information is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction of where that provider is located. Please note: once you leave our website or are redirected to the third-party website, you are no longer protected by the privacy policy or terms and conditions on our website.
3.5 Security
To help protect your information, we will take reasonable precautions and follow all industry standards to ensure that your information is safe. This includes: not losing, misusing, accessing, disclosing, altering or destroying your information. If you do provide us with your credit card information, it will be encrypted using secure socket layer technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. Please note: not all information is 100% secure, but we promise to follow the PCI-DSS requirements and implement all industry standards where needed.
3.6 Cookies
SquareSpace uses cookies to help store information about your session, the number of visits, and the contents of your cart. The shop has a password that you can obtain from FaceBook, so the cookies will determine if you have access to the website. 4. Age of Consent
By using this website, you represent that you are the age of majority in your country. Alternatively, if you are using this website and you are not the age of majority, we will assume you have received consent from a parent or guardian to access and purchase from this website.
5. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Scarlett Crusade Designs reserves the right, at any time, to modify the Terms and Conditions and prices; or discontinue service without notice. We are not liable to you or any third-party for modification of Terms and Conditions, prices changes, suspension or discontinuation of service.
6. Indemnification
By using our website, you agree to indemnify Scarlett Crusade Designs and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees from any claim or demand, including: reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms and Conditions, the governing documents of the aforementioned parties, your violation of any law, or the rights of a third-party.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any other agreements whereby we provide you service, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.
8. Severability
In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Furthermore, the unenforceable portion will be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions. Such a determination shall not affect the validity and enforce ability of any other remaining provisions.
9. Prohibited Uses
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms and Conditions, you are prohibited from using the website or its content:
(a) for any unlawful purpose;
(b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts;
(c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances;
(d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others;
(e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability;
